Azusa Asahina It's because they are royals. Honestly, I can kind of understand CP's side of rationale. MC is pretty pathetic there. I don't mean to undermine any traumatic experiences but if she's planning to become the mother of the nation, she can't be this pathetic. Simple decisions of royals would decide the life of hundreds if not thousands, and if she were cry over unfortunate circumstances of all those people, she'd die from stress 2 days into the job. Especially when this incident wasn't her fault in any way. Not like she asked to be kidnapped, it just happened and she survived. Least she could do for those who sacrificed for her escape is to live while not forgetting them, not contemplating suicide over the guilt of surviving. It may be hard to handle alone as a child but she could've made a better choice after she shared everything with CP. She just ran away from everything by choosing to forget the very sacrifices which is the reason why she's alive and well. So yeah, if she has ambitions, she ought to live up to them. If she can't handle it, she should first asked to be rid of all the future responsibilities, since she now knows she doesn't have the capacity to handle much burden. You can't have the cake and eat it too. So if she still holds a grudge against CP after remembering everything, that's even more foolish of her.

Azusa Asahina It’s purely because of royalties shit. The guy is one of those idiots that don’t believe in love due to their position. Because with nobles, relationships are purely business and no emotional connection. He can understand Selena’s survivor’s guilt, but never empathize. Case in point with how he just threw her away after the lying cow sent her to the inquisition office.
